Dodgeball Throwing Pratice:
This pratice is mainly focused throwing.
3 Different Levels:
Red Cones: Everyone starts on this level.
This is a close level, players will throw the ball into the goal. Trying to find which techqniue fits them better.
White Cones: Next Stage. The further away the more power you will, once you get the technqiue in red cones, the power will gradually get easier. Once players feel comfortable they can go to blue.
Blue: is just focusing on pushing more power. In the game play, you mainly want to focus from white and red cones. But the more power you have to push on the blue cones will prepare the players for more power at the white cones.
Players will struggle at first, but once they get comfortable with the technqiue, the power will come.
Coach: You need to make sure that the players are choosing the technique which suits them best and makes them the better player which will benefit them.
Make sure the encourgment is real, tell them what they need to improve on and what they are doing well on.
Handball demands explosive power, repeated sprint ability, and the strength to compete physically for 60 minutes. Sport-specific conditioning develops the athletic qualities that underpin elite performance.
Handball matches are won and lost in critical moments. Mental toughness determines who executes under pressure, who recovers from setbacks, and who maintains concentration throughout 60 intense minutes.
Deception is the great equaliser in handball. Smaller, less powerful players can beat defenders through feints and misdirection. Mastering these skills creates breakthrough opportunities against even the most organised defences.
