I would like to gather some simple stats during games to give focus to training after, does anyone know of a computer packege, preferably free, that can do this
Chris
The only ones I know of are pretty expensive.
I have compiled my own stats by getting subs or other interested spectators to make a note of tackles made, scrums and line outs won and lost etc. It is easy then to copy these into an Excel spreadsheet match by match.
Otherwise you may have to pay a premium! Perhaps other coaches out there know of a better solution?
Good luck
Simon
There is a free Video programme called Longomatch where you can analyse a video and export the results into Excel. Unfortunatly this means you will have to have someone video the game for you. Its not a good answer but an option, sorry. Doely
