First Touch And Rebound Shot | Shooting

First Touch And Rebound Shot:

Player 1 jogs backwards to the far cone and then sprints out to the first cone, ready to receive the pass from player 1.

Player 2 must take only one touch to set themselves for their shot on goal.

After shooting the first ball player 2 should then run into the box to pounce onto the ball played in by player 3.

Step over drag turn - Stage 5 (3 man rotation):

In this practice the players split into groups of 3. The player in the middle has to practice the the skill of step over turn before passing on the ball .

Double step over and push away - Stage 3:

The player step out, then step over the ball. Then steps over the ball again, to then take the ball with the outside of the foot to beat the opponent.

After having performed the skill the player should go back to the starting position and practise again.

Drag the ball with sole of boot:

Players practice moving the ball with the sole of their boot while hopping on the opposite foot.

This improves their control of the ball and can be used to drag the ball past a defender in a game.
