Rating: 3
from 1 members ratings

Teach your athletes to bat with confidence and the importance of good footwork when hitting for direction.

There's more to batting than hitting and hoping - a good batter should be turning their body to meet the ball, aiming for pockets of space and following through on their shots.

What's in the session?

Hitting into SpaceTo teach your players to use the correct techniques this session starts with some small group exercises, designed to develop the correct stance and batting grip.

Once everyone is warmed up we then work on placement of the shot and batting footwork, teaching players to stand side on to their intended target, before finishing with a conditioned game of Diamond Rounders.
