Rounders Drill Demonstration

Description

Players work in pairs, with one ball between two.

Both players must complete 30 throws.

  1. The first 10 throws should be made underarm (like when bowling).
  2. The next 10 throws should be made overarm.
  3. The final 10 throws should hit the ground before reaching their partner.

Coaching points

Look for concentration and safe hands throughout, with players consistently gathering the ball, bringing it into their body before throwing it back.

When catching the third throw (the bobbler) players should use the long barrier to ensure they don't allow the ball to get past them!
