Description
Players work in pairs for this exercise, with one ball between two.
Players take it in turns to bounce pass the ball at each other for the other player to react to and catch, either one or two handed.
Coaching points
It's important players don't throw the ball too hard - the ball shouldn't bounce higher than hip height on its way to the other player.
Remember:
- Watch the ball,
- Heel of hands together to catch,
- Fingers around the ball,
- Pull ball into your chest.
Also:
- Set a good base with one foot in front of the other
- Bend your knees
- Hands in a ready position (fingers pointing up)
