Rounders: Post Play

Player work in pairs, throwing the ball to each other.

In 4’s – feeder rolls the ball in to worker who picks up and releases out of the side of the hand to the post player.

Position in relation to the post receives a ball and takes the post CP one step away inside the post so that you can reach with one step. Take the post away from the runner with ball and arm.

Players work in pairs, throwing and catching the ball between each other.

In 3’s, 2 feeders, worker sets up to catch over the shoulder and passes it to opposite side.This feeder throws the ball to the origianal feeder. CP Set self first  Thumbs up  Eye on the ball  Give with the elbows

In 2’s both on one knee – opposite knee down to allow hip to come through

In 2’s both on one knee – opposite knee down to allow hip to come through Flick of wrist

In 2’s both on one knee – opposite knee down to allow hip to come through continue to flick wrist after ball has left hand

In 2’s pick up ball check and hold high elbow – step through

3 cones – approach ball – pick up – check elbow and follow through

In 2’s or 3’s balls on 3 cones – approach ball – pick up – check elbow and follow through

In pairs throw the ball under arm at each other . The under arm throw is used for short distances.
