3 different coloured spots are placed in a triangle in front of the batter, with 3 fielders placed directly in line with the spots about 5m away.
Player 3 bowls a tennis ball to player 1 who tries to hit the ball with their hand to players 2, 3, and 4.
Group rotates after 3 hits i.e 1 to 5, 5 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4, 4 to 1.
Ensure batter moves feet on to spots to enable ball placement.
Ensure batter swings with a follow through.
Aim of the drill is for the batter to place the ball by moving their feet.
As the players become more proficient use a bat, and move the fielders further out.
