Set Up:
4 players - bowler, batter, back stop, and 1st post. Rounders balls, post, cones.
The Drill:
Bowler bowls the ball to the batter (batting with a cone). They attemt to tip it through to the back stop to take.
The backstop reacting to the tip off the cone sends the ball to 1st post.
Bowler bowls 6 good balls then the players rotate.
The aim is to develop and improve the back stops catching.
Check the back stops stance.
Watch the ball not the cone.
Hands ready.
Release the ball in a straight line to first post.
Bowler bowls 6 good balls, and then the players rotate.
