This Defensive Session aims to get your players following their opposite number like a shadow - being ready to drive and intercept the ball to regain possession for your team.
By taking responsibility for their opposite number, tracking their movement when your side are without the ball, no player will ever go unmarked - your players will effectively be able to shut the door on the opposition and close down their attacking avenues.
What's in the Session?
To make sure your players are man-marking masters we begin this session with a Shadow Running warm up drill, ensuring your defensive players are maintaining a low and stable base from which they can move in any direction quickly to follow their partner.
From here, after a quick drink, your players will then continue to develop their skills in a series of Interception readiness exercises - finishing with not one, but two conditioned games!
Use this session today and turn your players into shadow masters!
