How can your team defend the circle efficiently and limit the number of goals conceded? Players need to be able to communicate effectively to force the shooters to shoot from the outer edge of the circle. Pressure needs to be applied on the outside edge of the circle too in order to force an error and limit the options for the shooters.
What's in the session?
We have drills focused on defensive units working effectively together to stop the opposition from scoring a goal. Also, limiting the space of the shooters within the circle forcing them to shoot from further away from the post.
Each practice has progressions to stretch and challenge your more able players and conditions to support your developing players.
