Teach players to face up to their opponents and deny space - forcing the error and winning back the ball - with this defending skills session.
To keep up the pressure we work on peripheral vision, blocking/shielding and communication in defence.
What's in the Session?
We start with a fun game of Cops and Robbers (bound to put a smile on all your players' faces, whatever their age) and then look at ways to develop your players' ability to limit space - challenging your defenders to work hard to pressure their opposite number and rewarding them when they successfully make an interception.
