Lacrosse: Cradle

Description

Players will learn the importance of cradling in a more game like situation

Put players into groups of 4.

3 red cones (you can use people for this as they can pretend to be defenders, ask them to look as scary as possible!)

2 blue cones - marking the start and finish

1 worker

The worker will start at the blue cone and cradle in and out of the cones (red in diagram) protecting their stick away from the defender as they run in and out of the cones. They will run to the next blue cone and will then run back in and out of the red cones back to the start. They will then switch around within their group.

The defender is motionless.
