Stand with your back facing the wall in the distance 1,5 to 2 metres. Throw the ball against the wall (use overhead throw), turn and catch the ball. The ball cannot bounce on the floor. You need to turn on both sides - right and after left.

Catching in front of you

With arms outstretched wait for the ball to come to your hands. As the ball reaches your hands, cushion the momentum by moving your hands to your chest. This will act to shield the ball as well and set you up for making a pass or moving the ball in the direction that you require.

Drop and Catch between Legs

Legs bent, hold the ball between the legs, one hand around the back of one leg, the other in front of the other, like in the image. Release the ball, imparting slight upward momentum. Rotate the torso to catch the ball with the alternate arms behind the leg and in front.

Stand upright with the ball behind your neck. Let the ball go and catch it behind the back.

Dribbling and catching

Whilst dribbling one ball forwards 5m, throw another ball up and catch it in the other hand. Start slowly and build up speed. Forces the player to keep their eyes up.

Stand with feet shoulder width apart and hold the ball in front with both hands at the level of your chest. Drop theball, clap your hands behind your back and catch the ball before it bounces.

Hold the ball out in front of you in 2 hands. Throw the ball between your legs and catch it behind you in 2 hands. Torso and legs should remain still.

Stand with feet apart. Throw the ball in the air above the head. Let the ball fall to the floor. Catch it in two hands just after the ball bounces.

Stand 1m to 2m away from the wall. Throw one ball against the wall for it to bounce back to the other hand. Catch the rebounding ball in the other hand having transferred the other ball to the throwing hand. Repeat.
