MALCOM'S SHUTTLE RUN: Aim: Analyse Fitness performance

DESCRIPTION

Players will start on the halfway line on their chest, quickly get up and back pedal to 10-meter line behind them, drop down to their chest, get back up and sprint to the far 10- meter line and repeat until finished. Progression: Coach could progress this drill by getting players to also do a line pass with the ball as they run to the 20m line. This introduces object manipulation and advances the skill. Regression: Coach could regress this skill by decreasing the distance or speed the runs are being done at. This regression will make the drill easier for players.
