LATERAL WALL DRILL: Aim: To analyse players coordination and agility

cora henderson Coach, Australia

DESCRIPTION

Players will be using a wall and must be a foot away from the wall. Their torso must be in a straight line and they will lean into the wall. High knees switch legs twice at maximum effort and do on other leg for x10 efforts each side. The coach will yell out a pattern which the players will move too. Progression: To progress this drill the coach could increase the amount of leg switches per effort, or change the pattern in which the players move too. This will require more concentration and coordination. Regression: To regress this drill the coach could decrease the speed in which the players move too, this requires less concentration and coordination.
