Players will line up across the 10meter line, one person will start with the ball. Whilst moving forward to the next line, whilst passsing the ball down the line. This will continue until reaching the 30meter line, making sure that the ball is being passed backwards and to players hands. Working on improving on the speed of catching and passing. When this has been completed, the rugby ball will be swapped for a smaller ball, for example a tennis ball, they will then complete the same drill but with a tennis ball. Then once that has been completed, the tennis ball will be swapped for a golf ball. After that the ball will be swapped back to a rugby ball. to see the improvement in catching and passing.
If lots of numbers, adapt the drill to staying stationary and having multiple lines, so they can race to see who can get the ball to the end and back without dropping it.
Or changing the drill so they are only running 10meters.
