DESCRIPTION

  • Player 1 picks up ball, passes to Player 2 on the move
  • Player 2 catches, takes ball in for a shot 
  • Switch lines

COACHING POINTS

  • Shooting is similar to throwing, but a shot s intended to score!
  • Always want to lead with their head to see where the goalie is
  • For power, steop like a pass, but instead of slowly following through, quickly follow through while aiming the shot
  • Emphasis on: snapping wrists, throwing hands, the "Push and Pull" of the stick
