1st Drill - We will revisit the basic forward roll and handstand individually to ensure that the athletes can complete the moves with the proper technique without injuring themselves.
2nd Drill - Using the matts and the wall the athlete will walk their feet up the wall into the hand stand position then bend their arms, tuck their head in, and roll out onto the matt to simulate the actual move.
3rd Drill - When the athlete can complete the previous drills to a good standard with the proper technique they can try the move on the floor without support, focusing on the entry and exit as these are the most important parts which give power to the move.
