Look into database for main categories of technical skills we teach young players.

Make a list of them.
Add comments like %3A good - average - insufficient
e.g. jump shot %3A good - average - insufficient
On top add names of the players involved

Hold one or two training sessions in which you look at these skills and judge the skills of the players.

In this way you can objectively make desicions.
