DESCRIPTION

1 Ball between two players. One player feeds and catches the ball the other player has to catch the ball and bring up the kicking foot next throw up the ball and kick it back the other player.

COACHING POINTS

  • it is important at this stage that the player when having caught the ball and throwing it up to kick back he does not drop his kicking foot to the ground

    With one ball between two players the feeder throws the ball to the other player, just below their knee height.

    The other player should pass the ball back into the hands of the feeder using a first time instep pass.
