Set up your players up in four equal lines. Only the player at the start of line 1 has a ball. There will also be a defender (red 1) who runs along the line to prevent the blue players from having a clear shot on goal.
Blue 1 passes to blue 2 who then passes the ball to blue 3, who passes to blue 4 who finished the move with a shot on goal.
Every player joins the back of the next line after passing the ball.
It's important that the defender doesn't simply run from right-left but instead shuffle, following the ball and always trying to keep themselves between the ball and the goal.
To begin with the defender should not block the shot. With more confident players you might like to challenge the defender to get in the block on the shot.
Rotate defending player regularly (they will be the player working the hardest).
variations :
- center shot (hip height)
- jump shot
- pass on defender
