COACHING POINTS

defending in a personal duel

- arms are slightly bent
- arms in front of you
- prevent attackers to come into between your arms
- move sidewards along with your attacker and stay between goal and attacker
- put counter pression onto the attacker's movements
- feet movements are most important together with slightly stretched arms
- never jump, keep close contact with the floor

Variations : - move forwards to each other-make contact and back to startingpoint again. - attacker makes 0-step feint action and defender steps forward and makes contact - attacker makes 0-step feint actions and tries to get past the defender on the right side. The defender steps forwards and stops the attackers with his arm horizontally.
