Race to the pass!

The green player rolls the ball out between the two blue players. The blue players must stare straight ahead and can only start the run once the ball enters their peripheral vision. Once they see the ball both players sprint for the ball. The player who gets to the ball first can then go on to shoot at the goal.

Run the bases and Shoot

Players line up on both sides of the court in the corner. When the coach says go the first two players (one from each side) sprint around the first cone, then around the second before looping inside to pick up a ball and have a shot on goal.

B runs around cone, picks up ball, throws at the goal. Next sprint after 45 sec.

B1 runs around cone, gets ball from B2 and throws at the goal. Next sprint after 45 sec.

B1 runs around the cones, picks up ball and throws at the goal at the other side. B2 from the other side at the same time. Next sprint after 45 sec.

B1 sprints to the other side, gets ball from B2 and throws at the goal. Turn back immediately, get ball from B4 and throws at the goal. Next sprint after 45 sec.

B1 runs around B2, gets ball and throws at the goal. Turn around to the other side, get ball from B3, throw at the goal. Next sprint after 45 sec.

Loop, receive, run, drive and Shoot

Player 1 runs around the cone in the centre, turning back towards the cone on the corner of the base line where they started. After running around the corner cone players then run out in front of the centre player who passes the ball into their path. Player complete the move by dribbling and driving towards goal - finishing with a throw at goal

Race to Receive

There are several ways you can run this drill, the first way is alternate running. This is where one player at a time sets off to run around the far cone opposite them before then cutting back infield to receive the ball from blue three. After receiving the pass they then progress towards goal before trying to score. The second way of running this drill is as a race. Both players sets off at the same time to run around the cone and then infield. The first player to run over the half way line receives the pass from B3 and then tries to score.

Zig-Zag run and Shoot!

Coach should shout "Go" every 45 seconds. On the first shout a player from both sides sets off to run up the byline, turn around the cone and run to the cone in the opposite corner. Players must then run up the byline again and around the other cone before finally cutting inside to receive the pass from the feeder in the centre and shoot!
