Blue 1 feeds the ball in front of blue 2 who then duels with their opposite number before passing the ball across the pitch to the next attacking player.
The final player lays the ball off to the lone player, once all the balls are with this player the drill restarts in the opposite direction.
Defenders should look to create player sandwiches, positioning themselves between the goal and the attacker before making defensive contact.
At first defenders should only make moderate contact but as the drill goes on you can increase the role of the defender so that by the end they are allowed to tackle the attacker if they are able to do so.
