DESCRIPTION

Pass B1-B2.
B2 runs forward and passes on R1 without a ball.
Pass B1-B2 who throws at the goal.

COACHING POINTS

variations in passing :
- center shot with pressure into the direction of the goal, threatening to throw at the goal
- center shot with pressure into the direction of the goal, threatening to throw at the pivot
- jump shot (3,2,1 step rythym, jump off with 'wrong' foot)
- push pass
- bounce pass
- with both hands

OFTEN USED WITH...

1-2 Feint and Shoot

Players take it in turns to make a run to their cone, just outside the 9 meter line.

Once they reach the cone players must feint moving inside before cutting outside to receive the pass just outside the 6 meter line from the feeder.

After receiving the pass players must shoot at goal.

Pass B1-B2-B3-B4-B5 who runs around R2.

Feinting under pressure

Players line up on both sides of the court with a ball in hand. They take it in turns to pass the ball to player 1 and then progress up the court.

As they move down the court the defender picks up the runner and passively shadows their movement.

The attacker must then move inwards before then sharply cutting outside to lose their marker, receive the ball from player 1 and make a shot on goal.

Pass B2-B4 who runs forward to R4 and also makes R1 react on him, B2 runs forward, gets the ball and throws at the goal.

Pass 1-2-1-4-3 at the same time : Pass 4-3-4-1-2 Defenders 1 and 2 try to intercept.

Speed Switch - Passing from left to right

Blue 1 starts the exercise by passing from the left wing to blue 2. Blue 2 then passes to blue 3 and so on... Each player must make a forward move prior to receiving the pass, so that they are running when they catch the ball. Blue 5 puts all the balls down. When all balls have been played Blue 5 starts the exercise at his side.
