DESCRIPTION

B1 and B2 pass.
B1 lands in 0-step position every time.
R1 one touches him and tries to snatch the ball when B1 catches the ball.

COACHING POINTS

snatch the ball while throwing, catching
- according to the rules it is allowed to touch your opponent
- try to touch the ball with the hand which is colsest to the ball
- this may be done from aal sides
- push the ball out of your opponent's hand(s) with a short wrist movement

Interceptions - Contact and tackling:

Players work in groups of 6. Blue 1 and 2, and blue 3 and 4 alternately pass the ball back and forth in their pairs.

The job for the defenders is to move out to try and intercept the ball. They can also then put pressure on the attacker and try to snatch the ball from their hands.

After the attacker has passed the ball players retreat back to the middle and repeat on other side.

Swap pairs around every 2 minutes.

Meet the pass - pressure and intercept:

4 attackers, 2 defenders and 1 ball.

Attackers stand in a square and pass the ball in a clockwise direction.

The defenders' job is to run out and put pressure on the attacker. They know where the pass is going so their job is to hassle the attacker and try to dispossess them.
