Handball: Feinting 4

The defender is protecting the area between the 8-9 metre lines. The attacking players work in small 2 vs 1s. The player with the ball plays a one-two pass and then attempts to feint their way past the defending player. After the shot players rotate positions - with the shooter becoming the next defender and the defender joining the shooting players.

Player 1 passes left to player 6 (in the goal area) and then runs out to receive the return pass. After receiving the ball player 1 must feint their way past the static defender (player 2) onto their throwing side (right handers - right side). Once they have got round the defender they pass to the next player in line who repeats this drill (passing left to player 5).

Pass B1-B2-B1 and pass to B3.

The first player passes to the middle player and then follows their pass. The middle player holds the ball in their outstretched right hand. The player following up their pass lands in front of middle player, takes the ball and makes a little step to the left before changing direction and running around the middle player before finally passing to the next player who repeats this drill.

Player set up a line on both sides of the court, with one player standing in the middle. The first player starts with the ball and throws it to the central player and runs towards them. When they are within an arm's reach of the player they should land in front of them with wide feet and take the ball from their outstretched arm. As the player takes the ball they side step in the direction of where the ball is being held, step inside and then out again before zipping past the middle player and passing to the waiting player.
