Handball: 2:1 duels

Pass B1-B2-B1 after feinting (dummy) on cone. jump shot from the wings in 3,2,1 step rythym, jump off with 'wrong' foot

Feint at the cones, dribble or run on and score a goal.

Players play a one-two pass with the middle man. When they receive the return ball players should use their two steps to get around the middle player (using a fake/feint). After their second step players pass to the next player in the opposite line and then join the back of that line. Drill continues in this way.

First shot: Pass D to A, A to B who feints to pass to E, but passes back to A who throws at the goal. Second shot: F-E-F goalshot. Third shot: D-A-B-D goalshot. Fourth shot: F-E-B-E-F goalshot. Defender 1 tries to defend the attackers in 1:1 dules. A throws at the goal OR passes to pivot C OR passes to E who tries to break through defenders 4 and 5 OR A passes to wing F who makes the goal shot.

Player A takes the balls and shoots at the goal. Defender 1 tries to make it as hard as possible for player A to shoot at the goal.

Player A takes the balls and shoots at the goal or passes to pivot B. Defender 1 tries to make it as hard as possible for players A and B to shoot at the goal.

Set up 3 cones along the width of the pitch on both sides. Player have a ball each. Players must dribble up to, and then feint past each cone. Along the first side players feint to the left and then go right. Along the next line players must feint to the right and then drive to the right.

Two groups opposite. Come forward and feint your opponent (also an attacker) with exactly the same feinting movement.

Attacker wants to get past the defender on the left side to throw at the goal.

The first player runs forward to the cone, feints (dummy) and then bursts to the left or the right around the cone throws at the goal. variations : - 3 step rythm (right handers : left,right,left and left handers : right,left,right) - 2 step or even in 1 step - jumping off : left handers : right foot, right handers : left foot - jump off with your 'wrong' foot (1,2,3 steps)

Players line  up a few meters behind the 7 meter line where a cone is placed on the floor. The wide player (blue 2) passes the ball to the player waiting in line who then runs forward to the cone. When they reach the cone players should be slightly to the left or the right of the cone. Before being allowed to shoot players must 'get past the cone' using an effective dummy, cutting around the other side of the cone before shooting. variations : - 3 step rythm (right handers : left,right,left and left handers : right,left,right) - 2 step or even in 1 step - jumping off : left handers : right foot, right handers : left foot - jump off with your 'wrong' foot (1,2,3 steps)

In this drill players receive a wide pass and then move towards the defender. Once they're within arm's reach they should move as if they're offloading the ball across their body (so a right hander would feint the pass to the left). At the same time they they should drop their left shoulder to make the move more convincing. After doing this the attacker should quickly shift their weight and push off their left foot to explode in the opposite direction and run around the right of the defender.

Receive pass from center backcourt player and perform the feint, landing on both feet, body feint to the right and steps left, right, left and goalshot.

The attacker in this drill should feint in an attempt to confuse the defender before passing the defender on their stronger (throwing) side, so for a right handed player this would be the attacker's right hand side, and shooting on goal. If working with a large group have all your players run one at a time at the defender before shooting on goal, if working with smaller groups set up small 1 vs 1 drills.

Attacker wants to get past the defender on the right side to throw at the goal.

Attacker wants to get past the defender on the left using the swinging arm technique.

Attacker wants to get past the defender on the left not using the swinging arm technique.

Attacker wants to get past the defender on the left with one step only.

Players dribble forward with the ball and must feint to get past the defender and throw at the goal.
