Handball: Triangle Passing 1 - Meet the ball

Be more proactive in defence - Don't wait for their attackers to come to you - get your players to push up the court to pressure your opposition before they shoot!

Blue players pass the ball around the triangle.

Players should run forward (to the cone) to meet the pass and before passing the ball again should try and use a change of direction/feint to beat the defender in the middle who is trying to intercept the next pass.

Tell your players to be creative.

B1 and B2 run forward to R1.
B1 passes to B4 and B2 passes to B3.

- make center shot after they feinted (dummy) as if throwing at the goal
- make center shot after they feinted (dummy) as if throwing at the pivot
- make jump shot after they feinted (dummy) as if throwing at the goal
- make jumpshot after they feinted (dummy) as if throwing at the pivot

Blue players pass the ball around the grid.

At the same time the red players moves to prevent the pass to the green player in the middle of the square.

The aim of the game for the outside players is to wrong-foot the defending player and create an opening in which they can play the pass to the green player.

B3 runs forward to R1 and B4 to R2 and then pass to B1.
