The aim of this session is to apply immediate pressure on the ball. The session also includes a conditioning element to prepare them holistically for a match
What's in the Session?
The session begins with players sprinting with a ball at their feet. All conditioning drills should involve a ball where possible. This is a fun and engagement drill to keep players motivated.
The session then progresses to focussing on players positioning with the aim to win the ball back and counter attack quickly or regain controlled possession
Use this defending session to get your team working together to put more pressure on attacking teams, increase the enjoyment amongst your side when defending and overall fitness.
