The focus of this week's session is on giving your batters some much needed time batting on grass; a chance to adjust to the pace and bounce of the wicket after a winter away from the crease.
In this session we work less on the finer details of batting techniques and more on keeping things simple - particularly focusing on playing straight and late. All the exercises in this session come with their own progressions and batting goals for your players. The beginning of the season is the perfect time to develop your batters' mindsets to the game, so it's for this reason that we set your players some SMART goals:
Get your batters back in the game and set them some targets for the season ahead today. The players who adapt best early season to bowler friendly wickets will prosper most!
"It is not only useful for staff who are experienced but a valuable tool for those subject staff who have to take teams."
