This game is very similar to Sharks and Minos but with a flair. Have one kid be the tagger or in this case, they are the character âSydâ from the movies (aka the bad guy) - it is probably easier for the coach to be the tagger. Designate a field and have the kids stand on one side with âSydâ in the middle. The objective is to get from one side to the other without getting tagged by âSydâ. Tell all the kids to choose a character to be from the movie (Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Rex, Mr.Potato Head, Slinky, Hamm, Jessie, Mrs. Potato Head, Alien, and Little Bo-Peep). Go through rounds where âSydâ calls out a different character name and if the name the child had chosen gets picked they must run to the other side of the field without getting tagged by âSydâ. This continues until all names are called and all the kids are on the opposite side of the field. If a kid gets tagged then they join âSydâ as a tagger and the last kid running is the winner of the game.
