The dodger feed when he is outside of the orange arc of cones. He can shoot when he is inside the yellow arc of cones. The crease offensive player should stay mostly stationary. The player in the slide role needs to adjust his position and make slide decisions based on the threat of the dodger. When the dodger is in quarterback mode outside of the cones, the slide man should be tight to his man. When the dodger goes into running back mode in the zone between the arcs, the slide man should start to show and go so that he can meet the dodger before he becomes a threat. The slide man should stay sideways as long as he can in order to pull out of a slide if the dodger bounces
