1. Two players must break out LOW and WIDE (literally near the sidelines) and MUST CUT BACK to goalie! Even with or above goalie, NEVER below 2. Two players work together in the middle just below the draw circle setting picks and cutting back to goalie 3. Two players cut HIGH and WIDE near the midline for a long clear or to be the second back option, CUT BACK to BALL 4. One player is the designated QUICK CLEAR looking to get up fast and out wide for an over the shoulder pass or quickly cutting back for a fast pass 5. Attackers (white): start in a DIAMOND formation when ball is on defense in order to PREPARE for clear, player on restraining line cuts down the middle and back for a second pass option, other attackers wide cut down and back for second/third pass option, lowest attacker looks to be the option to move ball into either a slow break or back up shot if it is a fast break
-DO NOT FORGET TRAIL PASSES!! If the ball is passed out wide, someone MUST come behind at an angle to offer a trail pass to SWING it to the opposite side -We cannot WATCH our teammates run the ball up themselves, we must have LAYERS up field to have second, third, fourth and trail pass options -The BALL moves FASTER in the AIR than running it -Keep your head up and see the passing options! -Don't play FRANTIC! Make the smart pass or look for the trail, no need to have unnecessary turnovers, PLAY SMART! -Use the ENTIRE field! Stay SPREAD OUT and use your SIDELINES, the only two players that are next to each other are the ones below the draw circle
