Box Shuttles Red A cuts diagonally Blue F makes lead pass to Red A so Red A catches ball in stride. Red A passes to Blue D and joins line behind Blue D. Blue F cuts Diagonally to Blue A and receives pass from Blue D. So the player that just passed is the next cutter. Be sure to wait to cut until the player that will pass to you has control of the ball. If you leave too early and they drop the ball, you will have to wait and catch the ball standing still which defeats the purpose of the drill.
Players should catch the ball close to their body and not stretch their body away from the ball. Passes need to be in front of the cutter so they can catch the pass in stride. Cutter should never have to stop or even slow down to catch the pass.
