Regrouping in Neutral Zone is about creating passing options.
Defense need options when trying to handle the Neutral zone regroup. This will require the Strongside Forward to 'Freeze' and provide a passing option. Ideally we want to move the puck D to D and back up what was the Weakside but always recognizing we don't want to push teh puck into traffic of provide our opponent a hard contact opportunity on our forwards along the wall. In other words moving the puck forward is one option but so is continuing to work the puck amongst our players - back toward our net as well as forward.
