Puck is dumped in by Centre either side of the Goalie. D skates behind net and makes a choice to hit up the Winger at the Half boards. Offside D maintains slot prescence and swaps sides if neccessary. Centre is curling through slot. Off side winger is hauling up ice once puck is in control as breakout option. Winger with puck chooses either to small pass to C or longer pass to winger moving. D is to skate in support rather than be stuck puck watching.
Timing is critical. Leaving too early leaves D/Winger trying to do too long a pass. Once puck is passed to the winger, thats when we kick into high gear and get moving. All 5 need to move at that point. We ideally want offside winger to be a couple of metres in front of everyone when moving.
