
1. Foam Cube: Handstand Shaping- Lay flat on floor with straight arms by your ears & straight legs (ankles & knees touching); place pit cube under lower back and have girls "squish" it flat and squeeze 2. Wedge: Bear Crawl- Bear Crawl down the wedge with straight arms (strengthen arms- encourage straight arms in handstand) 3. Wedge on Wall: Walk feet up Wall- Walk your feet up the wall to a 90 degree angle with straight arms and hold for 30 seconds; when comfortable with this position, lift one foot in the air & keep leg straight; head should be in line with shoulders at all times 4. Wall/ Star: T-Lever- Hold a T-Lever against the wall with head in line with shoulders (look down at the star), hands on the wall and lifting one leg in the air 5. Dot: Handstand- Coach will spot a handstand with each child. Move through lunge, lever, T-lever, and kick up to handstand positions. Make sure girls squeeze in their handstand and have proper body shaping (head between shoulders, toes pointed).
