Teams will often drop a player in the hole to make it hard for a clear entry. Defending team will set up a zone with 6 backs plus one tall in the hole. 7 attackers will attempt to get a clean entry to a leading forward. Work the ball around the 50 with short kicks, create space then hit up ONE kick to a forward for a mark.
Work the ball. No bombing. Pick the target. Forward have to work hard to create space. Backs are to hold their positions - no man on man. Introduce a defender sticking to the FF at a point during the drill.
