
Group A start with the ball they run it up without pressure and deliver to Group B (with a kick). Group B Receives the ball by taking a mark. Group B spreads out and works the ball up the opposite wing to which it came in. Group A must react and number off and try to win the ball back. They must react early straight after the kick to push into the open space and apply pressure on the ball carrier. Group B (kicks) delivers the ball to Group C. Group C Receives the ball by taking a mark. Group C spreads out and works the ball up the opposite wing to which it came in. Group B must react and number off and try to win the ball back. They must react early straight after the kick to push into the open space and apply pressure on the ball carrier. Group D replaces Group B The drill continues to roll on the same way.
React to what is in front of you. May need to Go fast (Yellow Ball) or slow down (Red Ball). When spreading make the action dynamic, Combine our roll up attacking the ball carrier, and replenish numbers behind the all by running defensive 45 deg.
