Main group: 6 v 3 OR 5 v 3 in D50. Ball is kicked by air or ground by coach. Players work ball out of D50 together with 3 (red) defenders chasing. One defender must start behind the group. Middle of the ground: 4 fwds 2 defenders must split and work together to provide options upon exit and at full forward. Combination of leading wide and hitting up at kick
Defence: Start 1 defender behind main group, aim is to chase out and try impact play (D1, D2 etc) Down feild defenders try and intercept ball or roll up to cause slow play. If offence is under pressure up to 70m out from goal thats a huge win. Offence: Be clean and get someone shoulders out to use ball well. Work rate!! If all 6 players havent made it into the forward half of the ground, stopped too early. Handball receives Split defenders with leading patterns.
