DESCRIPTION

Players to learn to keep eyes on ball and move accordingly (jogging, backwards jogging, side step). When ball is kicked, player then sprints towards target of the ball. This promotes game style sprinting rather than statioonary start sprinting.

COACHING POINTS

Zone off defenders when outnumbered by getting in the middle. Always keep eyes on ball Keep steps before kick small and balanced so you can change direction quickly once triggered.
