Think on your feet. If opposition are setting up in hit zone 1 then use either hit zone 2 and 3 or L1, L2 and L3. Understanding where the ball is going and working to position is the key. Rover and Cente players are just as important in this zone play as they are protecting the space for the Hit Zone. Starting positions on your opponents are so important. It allows you to get the drop on your player. Pusing off your opponent can give you the 2 to 3 metres you need to work away from them and have an affective disposal. Communicatio is the key Telling your team mate they are clear is the difference between affective and inaffective disposals.
