1st Drill - Help the athletes understand the shape that is needed to do a handstand correctly and keep a center of balance, we will then go into detail on the prep for the move which is a long lunge.
2nd Drill - We will use a wall, face away and walk our feet up the wall into a handstand shape to simulate the actual move and the feeling they will have to overcome.
3rd Drill - Complete the move using the main shapes and the correct technique, athlete's can use support or each other for assistance whilst trying to hold it for as long as possible.
Provide feedback throughout the drill ands a explain in depth what every thing is and why the athletes are doing the drills.
