Steps to performing a front somersault from scratch

DESCRIPTION

  1. Put a karate belt around the participant. (see diagram). Hold onto the belt, get them to put their arms up by their ears - 3 bounces and over they go - comment where needed
  2. Loosen the belt - perform same action as above
  3. Remove belt - hold onto their tshirt - perform the same action as above
  4. Stand on the side - count to 3, on 3 they go over, you step in
  5. Stand on the side - only step in if necesary
  6. Stand on the floor - push the mat in
  7. Remove mat
