Have the (P) begin the session with a quick ball game that allows me to learn their names and them to learn each others.
I lay cones around the room and everyone has to stand on one.
I start with the ball and give myself a fun new name e.g. Wonderful Will.
Then I pass the ball to someone else and they think of a new name for themselves. everyone moves to a new cone and they then pass it to someone new and so on.
Once they have done that they pass the ball to someone else but say that prsons new name instead. this way they are learning names and having fun at the same time. as well as making sure everyone is included.
If soeone is strugling to think of a name ask the class to help. this way they are interacting and working on the social corner.
