This drill is broken down into 4 major parts. These include, Ladder runs, Hurdles, A zigzag run and finally a sprinting receive.
- Each player will line up behind the starting cone in a single file line where they will then run through the ladder obstacle using the two in two out technique.
- After reaching the end they will do a 5 meter lunge walk and turn towards the hurdles where they will complete this obstacle only by doing bunny hops between each hurdle gap.
- Once completing the hurdles players will then perform a zigzag sprint between each cone where they go in and out while sprinting and maintaining as much speed as they can.
- Finally players will reach a 30 meter sprint where once 1/4 I will pass them an AFL ball which they will then have to catch and continue sprinting to the end where they will turn and go back to the starting cone to repeat the drill.
