DESCRIPTION

Transition Drill works on ball movement from a kick out moving the ball up the ground to be in a goal scoring position.

  • Kick out from full back.
  • Two outriders provide a leading option. Kicker choose one option.
  • Player that receives ball takes mark turns and goes. The person in the middle as soon as kick is released must push towards the wing to receive the 2nd kick.
  • Player 2 receives ball on the wing and turn and goes heading towards forward 50.
  • The outrider that did not receive the ball must turn and run as hard as he can to receive the ball inside the forward 50. He finishes off with a goal.
  • Once the ball goes through the goals the drill starts again from the same end the goal was scored at.
