Here are 2 ways to improve your speed and conditioning. Running up flights of stairs. 5x up four flights continuously then resting for 30 sec. Then do the same thing again until you've completed 5 sets. As this becomes easier add more flights and less rest time and more sets. Another way is to shadow stroke to the four corners of the court. Doing all 4 corners continuously for 1 minute as fast as you can. Rest for 10 seconds and do it again, until you've completed five sets. As your speed and endurance improves add more time going to the 4 four corners and less rest time and add more sets. The key to speed is strength in the legs and good footwork along with endurance. These drills will help you improve in all these areas.
